About Us

Seattle Student Union is a group of middle and high school students in Seattle working to win real change by organizing students towards collective direct action. We stand up for abortion rights, climate justice, Covid safety, mental health support, Black Lives Matter, Gun Control and any other progressive causes. Founded in January of 2022, we’ve led countless walkouts and rallies and won N95 masks for everyone in the district, $24 million for school mental health counselors and a statewide assault weapons ban among other measures. The group is led entirely by students.
