Seattle Student Union Hosts Rally Against Gun Violence
Students across the nation have had enough. We have had enough. It is long past time that lawmakers pass meaningful legislation around gun violence prevention. The Seattle Student Union is organizing a rally against gun violence, and actual, meaningful change.
We are done with the notion that our lawmakers in Olympia did everything they could. Here are our list of demands:
Mental health counselors in every school that represent the diverse backgrounds of students, at least 1 per every 200 students
Demand Governor Inslee call a special session in Olympia to ban all semi automatic weapons
When: Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at 3pm
Where: Seattle City Hall
