In November of 2022, we walked out and marched for two major things: gun control and more mental health supports. Now, we have bills in the legislature that represent both of those demands. Below is how you can stay engaged in the State Legislature, in a small or big way.
Important Dates:
January 9 – First day of session
February 17 – Policy committee cutoff
February 24 – Fiscal committee cutoff
March 8 – House of origin cutoff
March 29 – Opposite House Policy committee cutoff
April 4 – Opposite House Fiscal committee cutoff
April 12 – Opposite House Cutoff
April 23 – Last day of regular session
